Hummingbird Migration Celebration
September in Holly Springs
Each September, hundreds of ruby-throated hummingbirds make a stop at the Strawberry Plains Audubon Center in Holly Springs as they travel south for the winter. The Hummingbird Migration Celebration highlights these small birds and includes a lot of nature-based activities. The event includes several speakers, snake and bird shows, live bats, hummingbird banding demonstrations, wagon rides, and more.

This annual tour of homes and churches gives you a peak into the grand mansions, quaint cottages, and sacred spaces of Holly Springs. The event includes luncheons, brunches, carriage tours, evening events, an arts and crafts fair, living history demonstrations, Civil War re-enactors, cooking demonstrations and more. Halloween Haunted Hayride and Haunted House

Each October, the staff at Wall Doxey State Park put on a Haunted house and Hayride. Hours are 7 pm to 10 pm.
